1. I was a member of a brass band and I can play most valve instruments.

2. I threw myself out of a plane, solo, all in the name of charity.

3. I grew up in one of the most deprived areas of Barnsley.

Most inspiring thing you have ever done?

I have two children who continue to inspire me on a daily basis.  Their thirst for knowledge and being part of their development, along with their ability to bring qualities out in myself that were well hidden, are inspirational.

What are you passionate about at work?

Getting things right first time, attention to detail, and being customer focused.

Job role within Camberwell and what that involves:

Financial Controller

I am financial controller for the business and look after the total financial function for Camberwell, myCatalyst, SSE and Shine.  This includes creating and evaluating the monthly management accounts and updating the forecasts.  This in turn assists the management team and the board of directors in planning, controlling and decision making.
